Following Jesus is about taking the next step as you grow in your relationship with him, in the context of community. We offer a variety of ways you can grow in your faith while building healthy and strong relationships.
Baptism
“Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38
Baptism is the next step for every disciple of Jesus after choosing to follow Him. Having received forgiveness of sins because of what Jesus has done for us, we respond to His grace by being baptized.
The Bible teaches us that through baptism, we begin a new life in Christ. More than a religious ritual, baptism is a significant spiritual experience that marks the beginning of our discipleship. If you are a follower of Jesus and you have never been baptized, this is your next step!
Life Groups
Life Groups are at the core of our church because following Jesus happens in community. Life Groups are a place where you can share your struggles, learn from others, and be a meaningful part of helping other people move forward in faith. Through these smaller weekly gatherings, we build life-giving friendships and encourage each other as we follow Jesus. Life Groups are open to anyone and you can join anytime.
Serve Team
Jesus came to serve, and we find our highest purpose when we serve one another. By joining a Serve Team, you are playing your part in seeing the kingdom of heaven expressed in our city. God has given you unique gifts and abilities to build His church. Whether you are great with people, enjoy playing an instrument, love creating great environments, are handy with a camera, or anything else, there is a Serve Team for you.
Prayer
Cultivating a life of prayer is essential to building a fruitful relationship with Jesus. From weekly prayer gatherings to monthly days of prayer and fasting, we have opportunities to help you develop a lifestyle of prayer. Whether you are seasoned in prayer, or just learning how to pray, we encourage you to be part of our next prayer gathering. The best way to learn how to pray is to get in rooms where prayer is happening!
